Hi! I’m Christy.
I was diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome two years ago.
I was really devastated at the time, but by following a specific treatment plan, I’ve been able to drastically reduce my symptoms, and am continuing to heal.
I noticed that a lot of people out there have questions about mast cell issues, so I decided to blog about my experience.
What were my symptoms, and how am I doing now?
If you’ve just arrived to my site, I know these are probably the first questions on your mind.
In general, I’ve chosen not to blog too much about my specific symptoms. That’s because I used a groundbreaking mind-body program called the Dynamic Neural Retraining System, which emphasizes trying to rewire your brain around positive things, as much as possible.
It sounds crazy, but in my experience, as well as that of many others, it really works!
That is why you’ll find that I don’t have too many posts detailing symptoms or potential triggers.
I know what it’s like when you’re really struggling, and need to know someone else got better.
So I’m trying to strike a balance between honoring the principles of neural retraining that really helped me, while addressing the important questions I know people have.
My goal is to give you the answers I wish I’d had at the time, so that you can get started on your healing journey as well.
